About Us
A brief history of the Foundation
The Scarlett Family Foundation was established in 2005 with the sole focus of providing college scholarships to middle Tennessee students who were pursuing a business degree.
In 2007 the Scarlett family expanded the scope of the Foundation to include supporting students of all ages.
June 2008, the Foundation awarded the first grants to middle Tennessee based not for profit organizations that address a variety of educational needs. Since that time, grants have been awarded to support charter schools, to address literacy issues, and to programs that provide economic and business education for elementary through high school students. Grants have been awarded to organizations that provide comprehensive after school academic support ranging from tutoring, mentoring and college prep work.
The Scarlett Family Foundation looks forward to a future of continued support to middle Tennessee students of all ages.
