The Scarlett Leadership Institute is a dynamic and innovative start-up company whose core mission is no less than to improve the world’s supply of ethical, inspiring leaders. We work closely with corporations and build programs that ensure the ongoing development of their current and future leaders.  

We were founded by Joe Scarlett, previous CEO and Chairman of Tractor Supply Company. Joe and Mary Fink, Vice President of Programs, created our Signature Executive Program based on listening to 35 of our client CEO's and focusing on the core areas they stated as most needed in their future executives.

The feedback from that program has been exemplary based on the approximate 200+ executives who have been thru it. We value this feedback but the most important criteria that we use to measure our success is the change that our client CEO’s see in the people they send to our program. We hear feedback at a very detailed level from these CEO’s that they see changes in their executives because of their experience with us – that is why they continue to participate in our programs. We leverage this ongoing feedback cycle to continue to evolve and improve the program.

 

The Leadership Series

The institute's Leadership Series is for those individuals and organizations focused on developing their leadership skills throughout their career.

SIGNATURE EXECUTIVE PROGRAM - Focused on the senior business leader who is working to make their entry into the C-suite. Open only to high potential individuals nominated by senior leadership in their organizations, this "for-leaders, by-leaders" executive education program was designed by leading business minds to develop the people and talent they most need to support the continued success of their organizations. The program offers a unique and engaging means of transferring leadership experience to the next generation of business leaders.

EMERGING LEADERS - Targeted for mid-level managers who aspire to grow in their positions as well as prepare opportunities, this program will provide six two-day classes on those topics most foundational to leadership success. Participants will be accountable to the class for reporting on their progress at each session.

BOOT CAMP FOR NEW MANAGERS - New managers face many challenges early in their management careers. This program introduces new managers to six skill sets critical for a successful start. Delivered in six full-day sessions, participants will learn and practice skills in the classroom, with assignments for applying those skills when they return to their teams. Each class will provide participants with the opportunity to report on their progress as well as engage in a round-table discussion about their successes and challenges.
