Program Officer
Katie joined the Scarlett Family Foundation in 2018. A graduate of the University of Alabama, Katie worked primarily in legal operations before moving to Nashville and deciding to pursue nonprofit work full time. She has served as a member of Nashville Classical Charter School’s Young Professionals Board, and YWCA Girls Inc.‘s Advisory Board, and currently devotes time to supporting JPMorgan Chase Global Philanthropies’s New Skills Ready initiative and Mayor John Cooper’s Task Force for Youth Career Exploration and Alignment Opportunities. In her work at the Scarlett Family Foundation, Katie is responsible for management of the foundation’s STEM and Business scholarship program and for grantmaking associated with the College and Career Readiness pillar. She is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy through Boston College. She lives with her husband, daughter, and senior Golden Retriever in Nashville.
