Program Officer
Katie joined the Scarlett Family Foundation in 2018. She currently serves as Program Officer and leads the Foundation’s scholarship program and provides support to active grantees. She is passionate about education equality, believing that all children deserve the opportunity to thrive.
Katie is a native of Jacksonville, FL and has lived in Nashville since 2015. After completing a bachelor’s degree in English at the University of Alabama, Katie entered the world of marketing and business networking support for area law firms. She also chased a passion for movement by becoming a certified Pilates instructor. Katie’s career experience has impressed upon her the power of relationships, a lesson that she believes guides her work at the Scarlett Family Foundation today.
Katie is an active supporter of Tennessee Alliance for Kids, a local non-profit that seeks to support youth in foster care, at risk of entering care, or aging out of care. She and her husband also support Adopt a Golden Nashville, from whom they have adopted one of their two beloved Golden Retrievers.
